To reset your own Microsoft 365 admin password, follow these steps:
Go to the Microsoft 365 Sign-in Page:
Open your browser and go to the Microsoft 365 sign-in page.
Select “Forgot my password”:
On the sign-in page, click on Forgot my password.
Verify Your Identity:
Enter your admin account username and follow the prompts to verify your identity. You might need to use your alternate email or phone number to receive a verification code.
Enter the Verification Code:
Check your alternate email or phone for the verification code, enter it, and click Next.
Reset Your Password:
Once your identity is verified, you will be prompted to create a new password. Enter your new password and confirm it.
Sign In with Your New Password:
After resetting your password, you can sign in to your Microsoft 365 admin account with the new password.
